Tom Cruise gave fans a rare gift when he made an appearance in Game 2 of the National League Division Series in San Francisco on Saturday night.

The 59-year-old actor was enjoying a night out at Oracle Park to watch the San Francisco Giants play against the Los Angeles Dodgers with his son Connor Cruise, 26, joining him.

Fan videos and stadium video screens showed Tom smiling from ear to ear as he watched the game while chatting with fans, and even fellow actor Danny Glover.

Tom did his best to keep a low profile, even though there was no way to hide one of the most famous faces in the world.

He stayed comfortable in a navy puffer jacket and wore his hair slicked back as he sat in expensive $ 1,000 seats, according to TMZ.

The game was a chance to bond with his son Connor, who was sitting next to him.

He looked even more casual in a black hoodie with a black and white trucker hat and a thick beard that he’s gotten into the habit of wearing recently.

Fans were alerted to his presence after his appearance on the Jumbotron and the stadium played Kenny Loggins’ Danger Zone from his movie Top Gun.

Giants reporter Amy Gutierrez shared on Twitter that she asked him if he supported the Dodgers or the Giants, but he replied in an opaque manner, “I’m a baseball fan.”

Even though the outing was a family affair for the superstar, Tom was courteous to the fans and stopped to chat with people passing by his seat.

He was seen in a fan video returning to chat with a masked fan and posed for a selfie.

The Magnolia star put on an infectious smile the entire time and gleefully hit passing fans.

Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover, 75, was at the same game and was spotted stopping to chat with Tom, and the pair looked like they were having a good time.

Tom and his then-wife Nicole Kidman adopted Connor in 1995, shortly after his birth, and they also share their adopted daughter Isabella, 28.

Tom has kept busy throughout the pandemic while working on his upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 movie.

Last month it was reported that he broke up with his co-star and girlfriend Hayley Atwell, 39, although she still has a few scenes to film with him.

The two will also likely work together in the run-up to the action movie’s release for press conferences.

Last month, an insider told The Sun, “It’s been a very intense time filming together. They got along really well, but at the end of the last movie they decided to be friends again.

“Their filming schedules are very busy, and Tom has a number of other commitments coming up and still shoots in a private helicopter and jet, so everything has run its course. But they are always happy to work together. It’s a shame, but just one of those things. They always get along well.
