Tons of Script Changes, Kevin Dunn Coming, and a ‘Weird’ Backstage Atmosphere in WWE NXT 2.0

PWInsider reports that Kevin Dunn is behind the scenes overseeing tonight’s NXT 2.0 relaunch. It was reported a few weeks ago by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez that Dunn and Vince McMahon would oversee the big things with the brand.

WWE has updated their NXT graphics and everything is referred to as “NXT 2.0” in the future.

PWI added that Paul “Triple H” Levesque is not behind the scenes, which is understandable after his recent health issues.

Plus, Samoa Joe isn’t behind the scenes. During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez said he heard from people in WWE who believed Joe was not actually injured and that his absence may have simply been storyline related. WWE announces that a new champion will be crowned tonight.

PWInsider also reported today that the atmosphere behind the scenes was described as “weird” and that the show’s script changed a “ton” of times during the day. It looks a lot like a regular day behind the scenes on Raw and SmackDown.
