Tonight's 205 Live episode helped put some long-term scenarios in place, especially in anticipation of the weekend's Money in the Bank event. The first game of the night saw Humberto Carrillo take on Jack Gallagher, James Drake and Mark Andrews. In front of the bustling London crowd, Humberto Carrillo was able to defeat the other three competitors thanks to his ability to fly and Gallagher's help.

Although the four superstars made a great run, Gallagher had long been victorious. Fighting in front of his hometown fans, Gallagher staged a show despite the defeat, taking off from the sky with an umbrella to defeat the three outside superstars in the ring. It was, however, movements like these that allowed Carrillo to win. After finding Gallagher in the ring, Carrillo was able to defeat Gallagher and force him to victory. Although he did not win in front of the English fans, Gallagher has always been sporty in shaking hands with Carrillo after the match.

After this match, Tony Nese came out and faced another British favorite, the Ligero of NXT UK. Although Ligero did his best to compete with the WWE Cruiserweight champion, he just could not do enough to shoot him down. As a champion, Nese showed his coolness and skill in the ring, constantly throwing Ligero around before delivering a vicious knee to the race at Ligero for the win.
After the match, Nese showed sportsmanship by helping Ligero get up and asking supporters to support him. Unfortunately for both, Ariya Daivari would have the last word, since he stormed the ring of the crowd and knocked down Nese and Ligero.
