Tony Romo has been known as some sort of football scholar ever since he walked into the broadcast booth and walked away from the grill after the 2016 season.
As it has been confirmed that the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV, a clip of Romo from the Week 12 game of both teams has resurfaced. The Chiefs just outlasted the Buccaneers, 27-24, but the former quarterback said he felt they’d see each other again.

“I’m going to make a slight guess here,” Romo said. “I think there’s a better chance than a good chance, I don’t know what that percentage is, that these two are here in Tampa. [for the Super Bowl]. “
Kansas City rose to 10-1 with the victory over Tampa Bay in Week 12. Patrick Mahomes was 37-for-49 with 462 passing yards, three touchdowns and 28 rushing yards. Those were impressive numbers, but the Buccaneers did it then could have been just as unfathomable.

It would be the last time Tampa Bay would lose this season.
