The Township of Huron is one of several communities in Southeast Michigan to receive federal funding to improve operations and security.
U.S. Senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow have announced that the Village of Beverly Hills, the Township of Northville Fire Department, the Township of Commerce, the Township of Huron Fire Department and the Township of Redford will receive all of these funds. .
The Township of Huron Fire Department will receive $ 15,494 for new self-contained breathing apparatus. This funding comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Firefighter Assistance Grant program.
