Members of the president’s executive office were told on Tuesday that they will “start leaving” the week of Jan. 4, according to an email from the White House management office.
The memo, obtained by POLITICO, also contained information relating to payroll, benefits, sick leave, work records, ethics reporting and security clearances for outgoing employees.
Staff were told they would be receiving a “complete checklist” in the next few days and were asked to “take inventory of your office space”.
