Trump hints at another White House run as he heads to Georgia rally

Only “a bad call from a doctor” could derail another offer for the White House, former President Trump said, moving ever closer to the announcement of his third presidential campaign.

The suggestion came in a radio interview on Friday when the host noted that Trump had been reluctant to officially announce his much-anticipated run.

“I’ll ask you another way, can you think of a reason not to run?” Asked David Brody of Real America’s Voice Network.

“Well, I guess a bad call from a doctor or something, right?” Trump responded. “I will say it happens with people. “

Trump, now 75, was the oldest president ever sworn in when he was inaugurated in 2017 – until President Joe Biden, 78, broke that record this year.

“So things happen, by God they happen,” Trump continued. “But you know, I feel so good and I hate what’s happening to our country.”

Trump is expected to take the stage in Perry, Ga. On Saturday night for one of his signing rallies, where he will present a slate of candidates who have won his endorsement in upcoming GOP primary races – further proof of his continued efforts to remake the Republican Party in its populist image.
