President Trump on Saturday criticized conservative pundit Ann Coulter, calling it "Wacky Nut Job" and insisting that he "was winning at the border" despite the opposition of a hostile Democratic party .
Coulter, one of Trump's earliest supporters, has evolved into a persistent critic of the president in recent months over his fight for congressional funding for his much-promised wall along the US-Mexico border.

Coulter, whose works include "In Trump We Trust" and "Resistance is Futile," did not respond to the President via Twitter on Saturday, but was relentless in his criticism. In January, after legislators reached an agreement to end the 35-day partial closure of the government, she called Trump "the biggest shambles ever of the US president."
During an appearance on "Real Time With Maher Bill," she said Trump had reiterated her claims regarding the wall in order to reopen the government without getting funding from the House Democrats.

"I promise you that the country would work a lot better if I had a veto over what Donald Trump does. It's crazy that I expect the president to keep the promise he has made every day for 18 months, "Coulter told Maher about the promise made by Trump's border wall.
In his speech to the Congress on the State of Trump Union in February, Coulter called the speech "the most modest, the most sober of years, the most intentional and the most intentional."
Coulter is scheduled to speak at the Palm Beaches Forum in Florida on Monday, not far from Trump Beach Resort, Mar-a-Lago, the Palm Beach Post announced.
