President Trump proposed imposing application fees on asylum seekers as his administration tried to contain the flow of migrants crossing the southern border with Mexico.
Trump announced the proposal in a presidential memo on Monday and also called on the Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security to recast the immigration system.
