Former US President Donald Trump received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and he would receive a booster if he “felt it was necessary,” he said in an interview with Yahoo Finance’s Adam Shapiro on Saturday.

In the interview, Shapiro asked Trump, “You actually told people to get vaccinated… I got the Pfizer vaccine, what vaccine did you get?

Trump replied, “Well I had the Pfizer, and I would have been very happy with any of them. I thought a really bad statement was when they paused on Johnson & Johnson. I think… was the wrong thing to do. “

Shapiro then asked, “Mr. President, you have talked a lot about your good health, and I’m curious, would you like to receive the reminder?

Trump replied that he would get the booster “if I deemed it necessary. I guess I have some sort of double vaccine because as you know I had [COVID], has recovered rather well. “

“I am someone who tells people that I would like to see them [the shot]. I also want them to have their freedoms and so on. But I got the double whammy, ”Trump added.

A report from Daily mail noted that Trump received his first bullet in January before leaving office, but did not reveal it until March. In September, Trump told his supporters he “probably won’t get” the recall, the article added.

In the Yahoo Finance interview, Shapiro asked Trump what he would say to his supporters who refuse to be vaccinated, to which he replied: “When I was president, everyone wanted to be vaccinated. .. [but] after I leave people don’t want to take it and… I think it’s because they don’t trust Biden.
