President Donald Trump announced Friday night a tweet as mysterious as the dark side of the moon.
It seems to indicate that the moon is part of Mars (verification of facts by the TPM: this is not the case).
Despite all the money we spend, NASA should NOT talk about going to the moon – we did it 50 years ago. They should focus on the much bigger things we do, including Mars (which the Moon is part of), Defense and Science!

To make things even more obscure, Trump seemed quite enthusiastic about going to the moon just a month ago.

It is possible that the president simply meant that the moon was part of NASA's Mars mission. In December 2017, Trump signed a directive to send astronauts to the moon, with the goal of extending the mission to Mars and potentially to other parts of the solar system.
"The directive I am signing today will refocus the US space program on human exploration and discovery," Trump said. "This is a first step in the return of American astronauts to the moon for the first time since 1972, for long-term exploration and use." This time we will not only plant our flag and leave our footprints, we will lay the groundwork for a possible mission to Mars and maybe someday in many worlds beyond. "
The president has long been fascinated by space. He recently asked Congress $ 72.4 million to establish a sixth military branch called "Space Force."
