The TSA saved the wedding day for a bride and her mother after their dresses were left at an airport security checkpoint.
With all the commotion associated with airport security, a red wheeled bag was accidentally left at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, the TSA detailed in a press release shared with Fox News.

But the family and marriage had traveled to Columbus, Ohio, where the big event was scheduled to take place the next day, August 8.
When the dresses were found missing, the bride’s younger brother, Christopher Cepeda, filed a form at the TSA’s lost property office at Newark Liberty International Airport and hoped for the best for his sister Narolin and mother.
“As soon as I submitted the request, we lost hope of collecting the luggage in time for the wedding,” Cepeda said in the TSA statement. The security agency’s website said the typical response time was around five days.

Despite this detail, it turns out that Cepeda’s message was sent just in time as he was quickly spotted at 11:54 a.m. by Loletta Nathan-Gordon, TSA administrative assistant at Newark Liberty International Airport. Within minutes, the wheeled bag was transferred to his desk from the terminal where it had been left.
She called Cepeda with the good news, and the couple hatched a plan that wouldn’t require an expensive round-trip plane ticket the same day.
The dresses were shipped overnight to Columbus while Cepeda agreed to foot the bill for her sister and mother.

“[I] put myself in the bride’s shoes. I could only imagine how stressful it would have been for me, ”Nathan-Gordon said of the event. “I would have panicked.”
The dresses arrived at Cepeda’s hotel in less than 24 hours and Narolin was able to walk down the aisle in her wedding dress.

Cepeda said he was “delighted to hear from TSA so quickly” and extended his sincere thanks to Nathan-Gordon.

“She literally saved my sister’s marriage,” he added. “Without her, everything would have been a disaster.
