Two Warriors players test positive for COVID-19; delayed training camp

Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers announced the news Tuesday afternoon during a conference call with reporters.

Two Warriors players have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past few days.

The NBA recently released pandemic protocols, and one of the main takeaways is that any player who tests positive will be sidelined for at least 12 days.

The Warriors’ first exhibition game is scheduled for Saturday, December 12 at the Chase Center against the Denver Nuggets. Golden State will then play for the Kings on December 15 and 17, before opening the regular season on December 22 or 23.
