Two YouTubers from the Netherlands were arrested on Tuesday after apparently entering the Nevada National Security site in Nye County.

According to the Nye County Sheriff's Office, MPs responded to a report of foreign-born intruders and found a car parked near an entrance gate about three miles from the site. security.

The two men were identified as Govert Charles Wilhelmus Jacob Sweep, 21, and Ties Granzier, 20.

"The two people told MPs that they were talking, writing and reading English," said the Nye County Sheriff's Office in a statement. they wanted to watch the installation. "

Granzier told MPs that he was a YouTuber and they found several cameras, a phone, a laptop and a drone inside their vehicle.

The two men consented to a search of their cameras, where MPs found a video clip taken on the property.

They were reserved at the Nye County Detention Center and charged with trespassing.
