FSIS is concerned that some products may end up in freezers. Food establishments that have purchased these products are urged not to serve them. These products must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.

FSIS routinely performs recall effectiveness checks to verify that recalling companies are notifying their recall customers and that steps are being taken to ensure that the product is no longer available to consumers.
