The WBC champion feels it’s natural after grueling preparation.

Tyson Fury claims he feels “absolutely terrible” with a week before his trilogy rematch against Deontay Wilder.

The WBC champion is ready for his very first belt defense after beating the Bronze Bomber in February 2020 to take the strap.

He had expected to face Anthony Joshua this summer, but it turned into a July clash with Wilder, before a coronavirus outbreak in his camp postponed that fight until October.

Fury is in Las Vegas as he makes his final preparations for his October 9 clash, and the Star of the day has indicated that he thinks it is normal to feel below average at this point in training.

He said: “I feel terrible, absolutely terrible. But if you did an eight week boot camp and were relaxing and feeling great, you didn’t do it right.

“If you brutalize your body for eight weeks, train twice a day, six days a week, get beaten to pieces by four or five different guys at once, if you’re feeling good then you’re a bionic human being.

“And in a week, I’ll be feeling fantastic.”
