A report on Apple's plans to add new colors to its 2018 phone lineup has been revealed.
According to the TF Securities group's Ming-Chi Kuo analyst, who has long anticipated Apple's plans, the company is considering 5 colors for the next range of gray, white, blue, red and orange of the iPhone 9.
The range should include a low-cost iPhone with a 6.1-inch edge-to-edge display, which will have the same design as the iPhone X, with Face ID technology and a cheaper LCD instead of OLED with only one rear camera.
The company has historically used bright colors to increase sales of iPhones and iPods. The blue appeared previously with the average plastic of the iPhone 5c, but the orange has never been used with a previous iPhone, used in a new device, compared to what is currently available, the iPhone 8 is available in gray, silver and white, and in red version.
