Next the reports released this year demonstrating LG's participation in the innovation of OLED screens for Yvonne phones, a new report showing more details, claiming that LG will provide more than 3 million and 4 million OLED screens for Apple later this year.
According to India's phonearena website, it has been confirmed that the screens are for the iPhone X Plus 6.5 inches, which will be manufactured at LG's E6 factory in South Korea, but the report also suggests that it is likely LG will provide the majority of OLED screens 6.5 inches in 2019, that is why the company is actively working to increase its production figures to about 10 million screens.
In addition to LG's participation in the supply of OLED displays, the South Korean company appears to be playing a major role in the 6.1-inch iPhone, with LG having signed a contract with Apple to provide up to 20 million LCD screens for future Apple phones, the adoption of LG Display by Apple, the remaining LCD panels are set by Japan Display, while Samsung will capture most of the applications from LED screens.
