Hubble returns to work almost naturally

NASA has announced that the Hubble telescope has returned to work almost normally.
A gyroscope orbits around the third in the famous Hubble telescope, with a crash on October 5. Emergency patrols, which had not been functioning for seven and a half years, continued but did not function normally. A gyroscope is used to measure the speed of the vehicle equipped with it, provides a stable and targeted focus on the target and allows to obtain a very clear image.
NASA explained that the emergency gyroscope, the last available on the telescope, showed a speed much faster than the actual speed.
On the ground, at NASA's Godard Center, the gyroscope engineers turned off the power and performed the telescope maneuver to adjust the device again. "The speed of the gyro looks normal now," NASA said in a statement.
