The Russian cosmonaut Dmitry Rogozin announced that the Russian probe in the moon could be equipped with a device that digs the ground of the moon at a depth of 4 meters.
Rogozin added that experts at the Sirius Center for Young Innovators are designing such a lunar exercise. Russia intends, as part of its lunar program, to send Luna 22 to the Moon by 2022.
The Station will be equipped with a drill capable of digging the lunar soil over two meters. The Sirius Center experts were able to build a drill rig that was drilled to a depth of 4 meters and was to be supplied after testing it on the ground.
The head of Ross Cosmos revealed this project during his visit to the Russian Center for Young Innovators Sirius, experts of the Center are currently working on the design of small satellites for remote sensing of the Earth, which will be launched by astronauts L & Space staff of the International Space Station, or will be launched with Russian space missiles.
