An American company sued Apple and accused it of violating the patent for voice control

SpeakWare, a California company, sued Apple last Thursday, accusing the manufacturer of iPhone Violation of patent sound control.

According to the Appleinsider website, the US company claims that Apple is violating the patent – the "remote control" – by developing products that control accessories, including iPhones, iPads and HomePod headsets, as well as Siri and HomeKit.

The patent was issued in 2002, and it is assumed that Apple has been aware of it since at least March 2014.

SpeakWare seeks compensation for pre- and post-judgment benefits, as well as legal costs .

Apple is regularly the subject of similar claims, many of which fail before a settlement or a lawsuit is concluded, but there are exceptions: in April, for example, Apple ordered 502, $ 6 million for VirnetX due to abuse on FaceTime and iMessage.
