Asma al-Assad at the Breast Cancer Early Screening Center (video + photos)

Just before going to a breast cancer treatment session on Thursday, Syrian First Lady Asma al-Assad went to the Breast Cancer Screening Center of the Damascus Military Hospital.

A video posted on the Syrian presidency's Facebook page showed that the first Syrian lady had entered the center, where she had met a group of women who had witnessed the early detection of breast cancer.

Asmaa al-Asad said: "It is important to be here at the exam center because it is necessary for you to pass this necessary exam, but for your children, your family and all of us. needs, the country also needs you.

"Thousands of women like you are encouraged to come check and be reassured here, especially since early detection can cure breast cancer."

Invite them to show strength and encourage others to begin an early examination.

"We are as strong as we have been during the war years.

It should be noted that Syria launched in early October "the national awareness campaign on the importance of early detection of breast cancer" and packed the "I love Damascus" in the courtyard of the Umayyads in the center of the pink bands of the capital Syrian during the month of global awareness.

Asmaa al-Assad announced on August 8 that she had begun the initial phase of breast cancer treatment, which had been discovered in her early days.
