Some people avoid eating eggs for fear of high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease, but a recent scientific study has denied the rumors and shown that it was good for heart health.

The study, conducted by Chinese and British researchers and published in the British Medical Journal, states that "daily egg consumption reduces the risk of heart disease", pointing out that eggs are an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamins , despite the reputation of bad risk for heart health because it contains a high level of cholesterol in the blood.

After analyzing 41,613,000 people aged 30 to 79 between 2004 and 2008, researchers found that they did not suffer from cancer, cardiovascular disease or diabetes, and the question asked of the sample about the amount eaten eggs every day.

According to the study, only 13.1% of people eat eggs daily at 5.3 eggs per week and 9.1% of respondents rarely eat eggs, which is two eggs per week.

In contrast, doctors followed the cases and found that there were approximately 8,377,000 vascular patients and 9985,000 deaths due to cardiovascular disease during the same period.

The researchers also found a significant link between egg consumption and cardiovascular disease, explaining that 18% of people who use eggs daily are at lower risk of dying from heart disease and 28% of whites are less likely to develop hemorrhagic stroke.
