Google Chrome browser upgrades to Daydream Virtual Reality Platform

Google has announced Adding the Chrome browser to its Daydream virtual reality platform, where the browser will be available for Daydream View, Lenovo Mirage Solo and Daydream virtual reality glasses, which will allow users to have direct access to Internet using Google's own browser. Once installed, users will be able to launch Chrome directly from the main screen of the virtual reality platform.

Chrome is a popular web browser and it makes sense that Google offers its virtual reality system.

Users will have access to Incognito Mode, as well as saving and retrieving bookmarks. The release will also feature the specially designed "Daydream" cinema mode, which optimizes videos for better viewing on virtual reality glasses. Users can also perform actions using voice commands.

Google also referred to some features that were specifically designed for the Daydream platform but gave no details. If you think you already have these glasses, you can turn on Chrome from the home screen of your device after updating Google Chrome on Android through the Google Play Store. New support is only available in the latest versions of Chrome.
