The Orion capsule will transport astronauts to the International Space Station for use in space missions to Mars.
Recent tests have seen several developments involving NASA with the US Navy, in order to achieve the goal of traveling in space and reaching Mars.
The USS and the US Navy have used USS ship John B. Martha in the Pacific in the work of experiments to restore the experimental version of the Orion Orion capsule.
NASA astronauts have already trained for a possible mission on Mars and have performed maneuvers on the water in the Orion capsule.
"The astronauts have spent several days in Orion, and we want to make sure that the last part of the flight is ready and running smoothly," said Orion Chief Rescue Officer Tom Walker.
