According to a study from the University of California, California, the risk of endometrial cancer is 44% lower in women aged 30 to 40 years.
Lead author of the study, Wendy Setiawan, said that the prevention of infection could last for many years.
She added that hormone levels during pregnancy can have a protective effect against endometrial cancer because they can rid the uterus of the cells that cause it.
