The Surface Go device we received for review is on the Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y dual-core processor with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. There is a microSDXC card slot for the extension of the memory, a 3.5-in-1 audio jack, a Surface Connect port for connecting external keyboards, and a USB-C port. The inclusion of a USB-C port means that it can be used to connect any device or video output to a compatible display. This means that standard USB drives require a dongle, but in the device we tested, most files are saved to the cloud, which means we barely used the port to connect devices.
The Surface Go comes with a 10-inch PixelSense screen measuring 1,800 x 1,200 pixels. It is crisp and bright, ideal for reading emails, browsing the web or just watching a movie on Netflix. Despite the economical tablet, the screen still offers the same color resolution as the more expensive devices, with brilliant white, dark black and brilliant colors. In addition to bright colors, this tablet PC has a folder that allows you to put your device in standby mode while viewing or viewing content.
