ATLANTA – For the first time in UFC history, two fights for the interim title will be on the agenda for a la carte card on Saturday as UFC 236 invade the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Featherweight champion Max Holloway passes light weight to face Dustin Poirier in a seven-game return match, as middleweight contenders Kelvin Gastelum and Israel Adesanya face off for the title. interim to 185 pounds. Poirier won a bid victory against Holloway at the UFC's debut in Hawaii. Gastelum, meanwhile, had to face middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in February, before the champion got sick just hours before the fight.

The card, at the very least, will produce immediate title contenders for Whittaker and lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is suspended until the month of July.
