RICHFIELD, Utah – The Central Utah Health Department has confirmed cases of mumps in Sanpete County.

The Sanpete County School District stated that unvaccinated students and teachers had been informed and are now excluded from school.

Health officials are investigating other probable cases at this time.

The district indicated that unvaccinated people would be allowed to return 26 days after the last reported case.

At this moment, this date is May 5th.

They may also be allowed to return once they have received the MMR vaccine and provided official proof.
