Minnesotans aged 65 and over who received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine reported on Saturday that they received messages saying their second dose of the vaccine appointment was canceled.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health, the message sent by the Primary Bio that the Minnesota seniors’ appointments have been canceled was a mistake for the vast majority. The message was originally intended for around 20 Minnesotans who, through an error in the Primary Bio system, were able to sign up for an appointment when they were not eligible to do so.
