Monroe County, Indiana (WTHR) – UPDATE: Rescue teams found the body of a man missing in the water Sunday at the Allen Creek Recreation Area, southeast of Bloomington.
Officials from the Department of Natural Resources said the adult male was submerged by the water around 15:30.
He was swimming from the back of a boat anchored in the bay.
The researchers used sonars and divers. The victim was located around 22 hours. Sunday.
His name has not been broadcast.
This was the third recovery effort by Conservation Officers in four days.
Crews are still looking for a man who disappeared Saturday on the White River in Indianapolis. Four-year-old Owen Jones is also missing in Delphi after being swept to Deer Creek.
