Getting strong, sculpted arms will take time, but that does not mean it's impossible. If you're new to training, we recommend starting with weight training to strengthen your arms. Once you have developed your strength, you can also start incorporating some beginner dumbbell exercises into your routine.

To make your life easier, we've put together 15 weight-bearing exercises that will help strengthen and sculpt your arms. Just a friendly reminder that this is not a workout, and doing the 15 exercises at once will make you extremely painful. Instead, choose three to five exercises that work different muscles in your arms (ie, push-ups, mid-lines, and pull-ups) to train you.

Once you have acquired the basics of strength, be sure to move to more intense movements in order to continue to develop your muscles and avoid hitting a plateau. Meanwhile, put your arms to work with the 15 strengthening exercises to come.
