It was necessary to walk around the rounded front of the north hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Even at that time, it might have been easy to wander beyond that pale hue of the 1972 Chevrolet Green and White C30, unless you were attracted by the long and bright matching camper, trimmed with aluminum, mounted behind his cabin.
These kind of vintage campers are not the kind of things that are usually found at the SEMA annual show, but they show up from time to time and are usually spectacularly restored, then to others.

This one, named ReRun, was conducted by Creative Mobile Interiors, a company based in Grove City, Ohio. Rerun was invited to SEMA as a flagship vehicle by PPG, the automotive paint supplier.
A sign beside the truck contained a "previous" photo of the camper and van's appearance when Creative undertook to restore them. According to his website, CMI designs and builds custom and unique conversions for vehicles of all types and sizes, from caravans to mobile marketing presentation trailers to customized special offers and mobile offices.
For the 1972 Chevy C30, the restoration included the installation of a 402cid "big block" v2 drilled with 30 points and equipped with Keith Black curved pistons, a March Performance serpentine kit, an injection of Sniper fuel, SM465 transmission, Wilwood Hydro brakes. He also modernized the driving position.

But it's the camper unit that makes this sensational customization. The camper was originally produced in 1972 by Mitchell & Sons, Inc. of Commerce City, Colorado. Creative has rebuilt the body and aluminum hull and installed a complete camping interior with kitchenette, full bath, queen-size bed, SmarTV, WiFi, full kitchenette with bamboo countertop and HVAC system with built-in 4 kilowatt generator .
Basically, it is an apartment on wheels and a very livable apartment.
