One of the best things about Red Dead Redemption is his setting: a western. And one of the best things about a western is anarchy. And one of the best things about anarchy is to kill things. And there will be a ton of way to kill things in Red Dead Redemption 2.
The next open world game will apparently have more than 50 different and unique weapons, which is considerably more than the first game on offer.

As you may know Red Dead Revolver had only 28 different weapons, while Red Dead Redemption was 36, but only after DLC. Yes Red Dead Redemption 2 goes the way of the first post-launch weapon add-on game, so it's quite possible that there are more than 60. And that's just the single player campaign. Who knows how many weapons Red Dead Online will eventually have.
Knowing Rockstar Games, each weapon will be meticulously crafted with fine detail and realistic design. And of course, an excellent audio recreation will probably accompany each weapon.
With more than 50 different weapons, it will be interesting to see how Rockstar Games solves the problem. Will everything be unloaded soon enough on players who can afford more advanced weapons? Or will Rockstar slowly diffuse different weapons over the course of history?
Red Dead Redemption 2 should be released October 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is currently no news of a PC or Nintendo Switch output.
