The next Super Smash Bros. game will feature a wink at one of the most powerful Pokemon Ash has ever owned in the Pokémon l & # 39; animates.

Earlier today, the Japanese Super Smash Bros. account. published his daily update on the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Game. Today's update was about Greninja, the water-type Pokemon hunter who (as the name suggests) uses a variety of ninja-inspired moves. Although the update does not contain any video or screenshot, the update indicated that Greninja would turn into Ash-Greninja as part of his Final Smash.

Ash-greninja is the raised form of greninja, the equivalent of a mega-evolution. In this form, Ash-Greninja gains a red crest on his head and a shuriken of water on his back.

In the anime Pokemon, Gren's Ash was able to assume this form because of his deep ties with Ash. The abilities and powers of the Pokémon were strongly boosted, but they had a price: Ash would share the pain and exhaustion suffered by Greninja in this form. In his Ash-Greninja form, Greninja could challenge even the Mega-Evolved Pokémon and help Ash win his first "official" Pokemon League tournament – not to mention the Orange League.

The Ash-Greninja form then went through the Pokemon games in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Players can get a Greninja with the Battle Bond ability, which can then turn into Ash-Greninja after he has lost a Pokemon in battle. Ash-Greninja had basic stats of attack, special attack and speed superior to those of a normal Greninja as well as a boosted attack from Water Shuriken.

Players can still use Ash-Greninja in Pokémon games, it seemed destined to be an interesting sidenote in the history of Pokemon, similar to the Pichu with pointed ears of Pokemon SoulSilver and Heart of gold. May be Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ash-Greninja will enjoy a new popularity so we can see the Pokémon Special in more games in the future.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is released on December 7th. The next Pokemon games, Pokemon: let's go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let's go, Eevee is released on November 16th.
