Blizzard is known for letting its games bake a little longer than most other game developers. Well over a decade has elapsed between Diablo II and Diablo IIIbut all the games on which the studio works do not see the light of day. In fact, about half of them are canceled immediately.
Allen Adham, executive producer of Blizzard, told Game Informer that the studio had "a success rate of about 50%" in terms of its projects.
However, it is not because a game is canceled that its development is a total loss of time. Adham pointed out the MMO Titan, who finally had some of his elements inserted into Overwatch. Several characters have emerged in the game, including Hanzo, Genji, Reinhardt, Symmetra, Torbjorn, Soldier 76, Bastion and Reaper. It would probably have been a very different game, with director Jeff Kaplan stating that prior to setting up weapons, for example, Tracer had fired lasers out of his eyes.
Hopefully, none of the projects Blizzard is currently working on is canceled. We know that the studio is going out Diablo: Immortal, a mobile sequel to the action-RPG series, and it has been confirmed that a fourth full-fledged game of Diablo is also in preparation. We heard that an announcement might have even been scheduled for BlizzCon earlier this month, although Blizzard denied that such projects were being developed.
The latest full version of Blizzard is Diablo III: The eternal collection for Nintendo Switch, which brings together the basic game with the Mower of souls extension and all other previously published DLCs. This is the first Blizzard game to be sold on a Nintendo platform in 10 years. The studio relied mainly on the PC, mobile and other console during this period.
For Overwatch For fans using the public test area on PC, you can also try the new hero Ashe right now. In McCree's rival, the outlaw uses a lever rifle, dynamite and a robotic companion called B.O.B. which can cause devastation to the other team and never said that the Earth was flat – at least we do not think so.
