Battlefield 5 now live for some Xbox One and PC players

Battlefield V is still about a week away, but some players may start a little earlier in the World War II shooter. Those who subscribe to EA Access on Xbox One or Origin Access on PC can download and play Battlefield V now.

Subscribers to any of EA's services will be able to experience the game up to 10 hours prior to launch. Any progress made during the probationary period will be postponed until the official release of Battlefield V. During this time, members of the Origin Access Premiere premium service will have access to the full game. A standard EA Access or Origin Access subscription costs $ 5 per month or $ 30 per year, while an Origin Access Prime subscription is available for $ 15 per month or $ 100 per year.

The initial launch of Battlefield V was scheduled for October 19, but it was delayed by a month to give DICE more time to further enhance the gameplay. DICE general manager Oskar Gabrielson shared a message with fans about the planned release date of the game and revealed that anyone who buys Battlefield V during his first week of availability will receive two bonus items for free.

Battlefield V will be launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 20th. Like this year, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the game will feature its own version of the royal battle genre with its new Firestorm mode, although that does not happen. until next year. EA will also support Battlefield V with a stream of free post-launch updates and content as part of its live Tides of War service.
