Epic Games has launched a new update, 6.30, for Fortnite on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch and Mobile. The servers have been launched, but they are now back online and we have full release notes detailing all the new additions and changes. The big newcomer is a limited-time mode called Food Fight, which encourages players to use the new horse turret to settle the battle of Durr Burger against Pizza Pit.
"One wall, two main courses, the food battle has begun! Build your base, wait for the barrier to be lifted and compete in this new limited-time mode. Claim your favorite team on our social channels. #TeamBurger #TeamPizza , "Epic says in his description.
The turret is a legendary trap weapon that can be found in the booty, supply drops, vending machines and llamas. Although it has unlimited ammo and carries a lot of punch, players should be careful because they may overheat if they are fired too long. The turret can only be placed on the ground and can be destroyed by attacking it directly or by aiming at its structural support. The piece of floor on which it is placed is invulnerable. It should also be kept in mind that once placed, anyone can use a turret – including the opposing team.
As previously announced, Epic has ended its glider deployment test that began a few weeks ago. Redeployment will only activate your paraglider, even if you continue to parachute when you leave the bus, after crossing a fault or using a launch pad. In the last two cases, skydiving will result in a higher glider deployment in the air – at 35 meters instead of 15.5.
Other notable changes include the Quadcrasher whose appearances are guaranteed and the number of damage appearing on the island of departure. Even so, you can not get below 1 life, and the damage done will not count as a challenge.
In the meantime, Epic has made some changes to the Save The World user interface and has also introduced the last word Revolver. Check full patch notes to learn more about what's new and different with Save The World. You can see the details of Battle Royale below.

A week after their introduction, the NFL team jerseys were removed from Fortnite's online store. Those who have purchased one using V-Bucks can continue to use it, but they are no longer available for purchase. Epic has not said yet they would make a comeback in the future.
Epic has also started selling a Summit Striker starter pack, which comes with new skin, bling back and 600 V-Bucks at $ 5. This pack aims to give newcomers a taste of customization relatively cheap and, as such, is limited to one purchase per account.
Like every week, this new patch will be followed by a new set of challenges. If you have not completed the challenges of last week, you can consult the full list and use our guide for the most difficult ones. We also have a complete guide for every Fortnite Season 6 challenge, so you will not miss a single star.
