It seems that Amazon has signed a contract for a new Echo Dot for $ 1 after just a few hours (AMZN).

• Amazon was offering the new version of Echo Dot for $ 1 to new Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers.
• The transaction lasted a few hours, but seems to have been withdrawn after only a few hours: it was extremely popular as long as it lasted.
• Amazon Music Unlimited is currently $ 0.99 per month for the next three months as a separate limited time promotion.

If you've ever been interested in Amazon Echo Dot, you may have missed the best chance of getting a smart speaker for a fraction of the cost.

Amazon was offering the new version of Echo Dot for $ 1 to new Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers as part of an offer of limited duration. This agreement seems to have ended after only a few hours – which is not necessarily surprising given the popularity of this agreement. After all, the echo point usually costs around $ 50.

But new Music Unlimited subscribers still seem able to sign up now for the first three months at a price of $ 0.99 per month – a separate promotional price. It's not as good as having three months of music and an Echo Dot for under $ 5, but still, not bad.
