All Kanto are not exactly as you remember.

The launch of Pokemon Yellow in Japan dates back 20 years. Since then, the collection franchise of creatures has evolved a lot. Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee revisit the improved and Pikachu-centric version of Pokemon Red and Blue, and while the Game Freak remake is largely true to the Game Boy classic, not everything is the same.
Here are 10 important changes from Pokemon Yellow to Pokémon: Let's go.
Pokemon Go Park
Most of Kanto in Let's Go is an improved version of what you remember about Pokemon Yellow, but fans will notice several changes in the outside world, some big and some small. Most notable is the safari area north of Fuchsia City, which is no longer an area to explore for capturing Pokemon. In Let's Go, it's basically an entry into Pokemon Go Park, a brand new space where you can import your Pokemon Go creatures.
No game
Like the Safari area, the Rocket Game Corner has been significantly reduced. In Let's Go, all slot machines have been replaced by arcade cabinets with which you can not interact, which means that there is no wallet or game. to win a Porygon. This Pokemon can be obtained by a different means.
Pokemon in different places
In addition to the fact that Porygon is in a different location, there is no Eevee in the Celadon Condos. In fact, a number of creatures that you could only get once when talking to a specific NPC in Yellow are now in the wild. While yes, you can still get a Bulbaur, Charmander and Squirtle the same way you find them in Pokemon Yellow, you can also find them wandering in the Kanto desert.
Go up Pokemon
Remember the bike shop owner in Cerulean City? He is now a crazy biker who will not sell you a bike. That's right, you can not ride a bike in Pokemon: let's go, but do not worry, it has been replaced by something that could be better. Now you can select any Pokemon in your party that will follow you outside of his Pokeball. If it's a usable Pokémon, you can ride and sail Kanto by land, sea or air in a fast, fun and charming way.
Secret techniques
A popular change introduced in Sun and Moon is also featured in Pokemon: Let's Go, but in a slightly different form. That's right, we are talking about the removal of HM. However, instead of using Poke Ride, as in Sun and Moon, your Pikachu or Eevee will learn various secret techniques throughout your adventure that effectively replace Fly, Surf, Flash, Cut and Strength.
New rival
Gary, the arrogant grandson of Professor Oak, is do not your rival in Pokemon: let's go. Instead, the character who will challenge you throughout your journey is a kind and humble childhood friend. Rather than talk to you in vain and give you a hard time, your rival will support you and even give you some useful items throughout your quest. However, this does not mean that some classic characters from the original games do not appear either during your trip through Kanto.
More random battles
Perhaps the most significant change in Pokemon: Let's Go is the absence of random battles. Instead, we see Pokemon roaming the Overseas World, and when your character comes into contact with a character, you enter a similar capture sequence to Pokemon Go. Although it still remains many battles between coaches with a traditional turn-based game where you can improve your Pokemon, your group will also gain experience when you have captured Pokemon.
Conditions of entry to the gymnasium
Unlike Pokemon Yellow and all previous Pokemon games, to be able to face a gym in Pokemon: Let's Go, you must meet a specific requirement. These requirements vary. For example, you may need a Pokémon of a specific type or having reached a certain level. Some gyms require unique requirements, which we will not spoil you here.
No PC Pokemon
Bill, a Pokemon researcher, is still in Let's Go, but his PC storage system, which has been a staple in all basic Pokemon games, is nowhere else in Pokemon: Let's Go. this, you have a Pokemon box in your inventory that you can access each time you are not in combat. While this is extremely convenient, being able to trade Pokémon that has faded or low HP / PP level without having to go to a Pokémon Center greatly reduces the difficulty.
Later updates
Several changes and features that have been added in subsequent generations after Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow appear in Pokemon: Let's Go. You can not only choose the gender of your character (introduced for the first time in Pokemon Crystal), you can also Equip it with different clothing options that you will find throughout your journey. Pokemon types added (such as Steel, Fairy and Dark) are described in Pokemon Let's Go, as are some of the moves added to subsequent generations. You will also be able to face other coaches in double battles, be able to get Alolan Pokemon and even have the ability to power some of your Pokemon with Mega Evolutions.
