Today, Nintendo has shared a new trailer for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, revealing a brand new waifu that will soon join the whimsical battle. Joan of Arc of the World Heroes series.
If you're not familiar with Jeanne, she made her debut in the first World Heroes game in 1992, and since then she's been a fixture in the series. Of course, she is a tribute to the French national heroine Joan D'Arc, even if her behavior is very different. Apparently, this translates into the rather comical nature of SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
Jeanne will be released on December 13th, joining previous DLC characters, including Skullomania of Fighting EX Layer and Thief Arthur of the Million Arthur series.
You can check out the new trailer below and see if Jeanne manages to charm you into your main character. Personally, I am sold.
Incidentally, the World Heroes series has been in the spotlight for a long time. It is certainly one of the intellectual properties of SNK which deserves to be re-examined.
SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is currently available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It is published in the West by NIS America.
