Warner Bros. is no stranger to the reissue of successful games on a new market for players. Look what he did with Batman: Back to Arkham, who packed two of his classic games in the series for a new generation to enjoy; as good as Harry Potter Lego Collection, which recently dropped for Nintendo Switch.
And now, thanks to a new list, it seems that we can live Batman the mania again. A report from TrueAchievements suggests that a Batman: Arkham Collection could come out this week, bringing back the Dark Knight signature games in the series with full support for 4K and Xbox One X.
There was a listing on the Xbox Store for the game, which was due out on November 27th. It seems to have been removed, but the picture above has been taken, with this description of the output:
"Batman: Arkham Collection offers you the definitive versions of Rocksteady's Arkham Trilogy games, including all post-launch content, in a complete collection. Check out two of the most critically acclaimed titles of the latest generation: Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, with images completely remastered and updated. Complete your experience with the explosive finale of the Arkham series in Batman: Arkham Knight. Become a Batman and use a wide range of gadgets and abilities to battle Gotham's most dangerous villains, to finally face the ultimate threat that Batman is supposed to protect against the city. "
It looks like the games will be remastered to support the Xbox One X in 4K; and a PlayStation 4 version, offering full support for the Pro, will probably also follow.
Keep in mind that Back to Arkham already supports Xbox One X, but does not support 4K or HDR resolution; so this version would probably solve that, while also providing it for Arkham Knight.
Warner Bros. did not say a word about the game's release, but it looks pretty formal from the artistic point of view and the details we've seen. It is likely that we will hear more about it tomorrow or Tuesday, when the game begins to make its way. The price has not been announced yet, but it will probably be around 40 to 50 dollars, unless Warner Bros. does not offer it as budget about 20 dollars.
Now the real question – can we get a Batman: The origins of Arkham remastered version as well? We do not mind playing this game in 4K, to be quite honest.
You can check the Batman: Arkham trilogy for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
