As it has done in recent years, Apple is participating today in the San Francisco Pride Parade. Apple employees wore t-shirts bearing the Apple logo on the theme of pride, as did CEO Tim Cook, Lisa Jackson and Jay Blahnik.

Apple usually publishes a video highlighting its participation in the Pride Parade, although we do not have one for this year yet. The company has participated in the San Francisco Pride Parade since at least 2014.
Apple employees and passers-by have shared many messages on Twitter about the company's involvement. A user announced that there were about 1000 people in the parade section of Apple. Tim Cook can be seen mingling with employees and Apple fans, as well. Other Apple executives, including Jay Blahnik and Lisa Jackson were also present.
Apple's participation at the San Francisco Pride Parade comes after a long month of celebration for the company. In early June, Apple rolled out a Pride-themed Apple Watch, as well as a new pride band for the device. The company has also deployed pride displays to a handful of Apple stores across the country.
In addition to its participation in pride events, Apple has repealed the opposition expressed to legislation that it deems discriminatory against the LGBTQ community. It has also supported legislation focusing on efforts to combat LGBTQ discrimination. Tim Cook was honored for his efforts on social issues such as LGBTQ rights.
