This unique Switch is designed after Nintendo Labo and can be won next month as part of a Nintendo Labs creator contest. Four other prizes include a Labo Jacket and a Joy-Cons Collectible Cardboard.
As we have seen with the 3DS, Nintendo is happy to offer many different case designs for its portable hardware. But for the Switch, a highly desirable custom paint job is offered to one person as part of a contest next month.
The Nintendo Labo Creators Contest starts on July 19th and runs until August 20th. Nintendo wants the best musical instrument and the best gaming experience created using the Toy-Con garage and DIY materials. Judges will focus on quality and creativity to decide the winners.
In return for this creativity, a big winner will receive a collectible Nintendo Switch with a custom painting job inspired by Nintendo Labo. As shown in the picture above, Nintendo has created a Switch that looks like cardboard. The same winner will also receive a Nintendo Labo Creators jacket and a framed certificate signed by Nintendo Labo developers.
Four finalists will receive the same Creators jacket, but also a pair of collection Joy-Con controllers in the same style of cardboard.
To participate, you just need a Nintendo, Switch and Labo account to make your musical instrument or gaming experience. It is also possible to submit more than one creation if you have the time, make sure you that everyone is unique.
In other news, Nintendo ad as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is now compatible with the creation of Toy-Con Motorbike. This means that you can create the handlebars and run around the tracks using them for a different experience. This is sure to be very fun and very rewarding knowing that you have built the controller yourself.
