Once again, rumors persist of a Grand Theft Auto VI still unannounced . It's been a long time since the release of Grand Theft Auto V and players are eager to see what could come from Rockstar. While the real answer to this question is Red Dead Redemption 2 later this year, players hope Rockstar will announce the next iteration in the GTA series. We have not yet had a game Grand Theft Auto complete this generation ( GTA V originally released on latest generation consoles), but much of Rockstar's efforts were concentrated on GTA Online including the all-new update of the nightclubs
GTA Online players on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC were receiving a message in the game that seemed to announce a Grand Theft Auto VI 2019 release date. The message is supposedly directly from Rockstar and simply says " GTA VI Coming 2019" with a link to the Rockstar Games website. Unless Rockstar is trying to opt for a subtle / not so subtle viral marketing campaign, we're going to make a false image of it (and frankly, that's not the style of Rockstar with a new game announcement).
The studio is currently going out Red Dead Redemption 2 in October, and while they probably have a studio working on GTA 6 I'm typing In this article, they're not going to start advertising it or marketing it right now. The message GTA Online itself is real – many players confirm to have gotten it – so how did this elaborate farce go? The messenger currently only appears on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. In other words, it only appears on the versions of the game that can be modified. The so-called "pure" versions of GTA Online namely PS4 and Xbox One, have not yet seen advertising GTA VI .
Grand Theft Auto V recently exceeded 95 million units sold, so the five-year old game is still extremely strong. Rockstar will take us back to the Wild West later this year. With all eyes on this, it may be a long time before we see the slightest allusion to a Grand Theft Auto VI release date . Maybe Rockstar will celebrate 100 million sold in a special way? Until then, we will have to settle for the idea of a prankster joke, because we doubt that this release date of Grand Theft Auto VI is really real
