Apple will end its photo printing operation in September

Apple plans to discontinue its photo printing service at the end of September, as spotted by 9to5Mac . The feature allows users to order albums, photo books, prints and other items containing images stored in Photos (and previously iPhoto). Final print orders must be placed before September 30, 2018, according to a new pop-up message appearing in Photos when running macOS 10.13.6

The message suggests that users download a third-party application from the Mac App Store to get impressions. These applications integrate directly into Photos and manage everything that Apple has already done. I am a little surprised that Apple is no longer in production, only because it seems to have been a source of income at least. But maybe it was not worth it, especially when it's so easy to transfer work to other developers.

The Apple printing service has been around for at least a decade. in most photo applications. Google Photos, Flickr and others offer easy ways, in the application, to create memories of physical photos. So yes, there are plenty of possibilities for your digital photos to become physical objects, but Apple is no longer interested in doing so. RIP.
