The developer Treyarch has been discreet about the new Call of Duty variant of the royal battle game for months now, leaving the little details spread since his grand revelation of May. The mode is called Blackout, and it exists as a free element of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It was confirmed before E3 this year that it involved land, air and sea vehicles and the largest card ever delivered by the franchise.
Beyond that, we have not seen much and the public has mostly survived a recent Game informant feature detailing some key details such as the number of players and a revelation of the aerial map just yesterday. Today, publisher Activision and Treyarch have dropped the very first trailer of Blackout.
In clear terms, it's a bit of sensory overload, and yet it sounds really amazing. It sounds like a much more spectacular start in style for Call of Duty than Battlefield VThe Firestorm mode in competition will be, the details have also been revealed this week.
