Laguna Seca is becoming a popular track for builders who run their vehicles. Just weeks after Jaguar announced that their I-Pace had set an "EV Tour Production Record" on the track, Lucid announced today that their future Air sedan was beating this time with a time of 1 : 41.67 compared to Jaguar 1: 48.18.

Their record is still topical because Lucid's car is not yet in production and their prototype has been significantly altered.
