"NBA 2K19" How to recover your virtual capital if you see a "-1" in your bank

Many 2K NBA fans were discouraged on Friday morning when their virtual currency banks were reduced to "-1", while overloaded server problems dropped the NBA 2K19 for some.

A little before 2 pm, 2K support tweeted this message and directed the affected users to their website to make a fix.

Hello, # NBA2K19 players! Do not panic if the game shows you have a negative VC balance! If this happens, please follow these steps to clear your cache. This should solve the problem. https://t.co/vb38uVDB3V

The page at the end of the link explains how to clear their cache, which should fix the problem. Here are the instructions for the PS4, the Xbox One, the Nintendo switch and the PC:

NINTENDO SWITCH

1. Open "System Settings" in the HOME menu.
2. Then select "System", choose "Format Options" and then select "Reset Cache".
3. Select the user for whom you want to clear the cache, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

PLAYSTATION 4

The PlayStation 4 has no cache to erase. That said, turn off / on your console if you experience performance issues in the console.

1. Press and hold the PlayStation button on your controller.
2. Select "Disable PS4".
3. Let the PlayStation 4 turn off completely and wait 10 to 20 seconds.
4. Restart the PlayStation 4.

XBOX ONE

1. Hold down the power button on the front of the console until the Xbox One turns off completely.
2. Unplug the power cable from the Xbox One so that no power source is connected to the console.
3. Press the power button on the front of the Xbox One three or four times. This will drain all the remaining power from the battery.
4. Reconnect the power cable to the console.
   • For standard Xbox One models, you will need to let the light from the power block go from white to orange before continuing.
5. Turn on the console via the power button.

STEAM – CHECK THE INTEGRITY OF THE CACHE GAME

1. Right-click on the game from the Steam library
2. Select Properties
3. Click the Local Files tab
4. Select the option "Check the integrity of the game cache"
