Battle Royale Battlefield Mode 5, Firestorm, more detailed

EA revealed more details about the highly anticipated Battlefield V battle mode, Firestorm. As a result of the information we have drawn from the latest trailer of the game, the publisher has shared a blog post that provides additional information on how and how it differs from other versions of the genre.

Unlike the main game, Firestorm is not developed by DICE, but by Criterion, the studio behind the Burnout series. True to its name, Firestorm places players on an extended battlefield surrounded by a circle of fire that closes continuously as the game progresses. As in other Royal Battle games, the goal is to find weapons and resources to defeat other players and be the last remaining team.

A notable area in which Firestorm differs from other royal battle games is its number of players. Unlike PUBG and Fortnite, which pit 100 players from one to the other, Firestorm supports up to 64 players, divided into teams of four. The mode also includes destructible environments, as well as tanks and other transport vehicles that you can requisition to confront other players.

In addition, Firestorm will propose its own challenges in matches called goals. EA says that these will work like those of the Conquest mode. The goals will be scattered to certain fixed and random places, and their achievement will in turn unlock better equipment during the match to give you an edge over the other teams.

In addition to that, EA has unveiled a new pre-order bonus for Battlefield V. Players who reserve the title prior to its release will receive the Firestorm Ranger set, which includes eyeglasses, light combat boots and the Elite Battle Dagger. MKIII (S). Battlefield V is launched for PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 20th. The release of the game was originally scheduled for October 19, but was recently delayed to refine it before its launch. Players will have the opportunity to try Battlefield V later this week. Its open beta starts on all platforms today, Sept. 6.

Battlefield V is not the only upcoming shooter to come up with a royal battle mode. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will also introduce its own approach of the genre with Blackout. Activision recently took a closer look at this royal battle mode with a new trailer.
